As we all know, 2020-21 has been a challenge! Students and teachers alike have been playing a game of Twister trying to replicate the classroom experience online. We had a record number of young Musicians this year and the future of our program is bright!
PBMS Music Association offered invaluable support this year. We paid for the online SmartMusic program and hope to continue offering this forever. It will always be worthwhile but was especially helpful this year.
For every new student, we need additional instruments. Instruments require maintenance and repair. SDUSD does not have a dedicated budget for Music and our fundraising fuels this program. This Fundraiser is our only opportunity to raise money this school year.
Mr O'Donnell says almost daily, "I am so impressed with this year's 6th grade! I am really so proud of all of my Musicians this year. I can hardly wait to have them back in the classroom!"
