My dad had a serious health issue that put him in the hospital, and now he's disabled. Won't get paid for 3 weeks. Needs enough for rent, groceries, and meds. Please, he is mentally unwell. I just want him to survive.

My dad is 58 years old and lives in a halfway shelter for men. He has a warehouse job, but he doesn't get many hours, and most of the money goes to rent & child support. When he got a widespread MRSA infection last week and had to go to the hospital, he was ordered by his physician to not go back to work until late August. That means no paychecks until possibly Sept. During the day, his shelter makes him leave the building, so he is wandering around in blazing heat with no food/water during the day.
I am a student in debt myself, barely making it work. I also live in a different state and cannot help him the way he needs to be helped this month.
As you can see from the text messages in my Fundly page, he is in extreme emotional/mental distress. I am very worried for his safety. Thank you friend, for any assistance at all, even just $2. Have a blessed day.
