I am raising money to help pay for the reconstruction of my friends house. There was a power break which sparked a fire that burned everything inside. There were 5 windows that shattered, 2 glass doors, and 5 tv's. There are holes in the walls and the stairs shattered. They were left with nothing but what they had on. Their entire savings burned up alongside all their personal items, clothing, shoes... Fortunately, no one got hurt. But, the damage and costs for repair are unbearable. She lives in Ensenada, B.C. Because of the lack of money and support, the government does not help in incidents as such an everything needed is to come out of pocket. I am also working on organizing a donation pickup/drop off in order to collect items they can use. I will be accepting everything from groceries to clothing to furniture and personal hygiene items (etc) I plan to take a trip in about 2 weeks with what I've collected to begin reconstruction and provide them with the collected donations. Any help is appreciated, thank you.
