Family Home Renovations

Family Home Renovations

From Heather Dawn Smith

I'm raising money for a family home renovation. We want to fix it up and live there for some time until we feel it's time to sell it and buy our dream home, but we have no funds to buy what's needed or hire workers.

My family is looking to raise money so that we may complete our future home that was given to us by family about 2 years ago but it has had minimal work done on it due to expenses and time restraints as well as many bumps in the road. We simply don't have the funds, time or knowledge it would take to finish renovating this OLD home, especially the wiring, so we need the funds to hire people and replace / fix things. Also, the plumbing is not currently hooked up due to a massive leak which was metal pipe that had to be removed.

My husband works a typical "9-5" and we are currently living with older family members with our 4 year old daughter and we feel that it has become a burden to all who live here, especially to them in their older age.We really want to live in our own home and space where you're not running into family problems but it will not be possible unless we receive a financial push. The funds will be used to:* Hire experienced help* Replace old/worn parts such as: plumbing, toilets, windows, wire, light fixtures, etc.* Sand down, prime & paint the OSB walls (they give off frequent splinters and it's a concern as a mom to a 4 year old.)* Remove double chimney to add closet as there is nearly no closet space for my husband and I.The support for our home project and future investment will mean everything to us and will probably make me cry happy tears and super grateful because we have waited so long to move in and our daughter is so excited everytime we go to the house and always asks us when we can live there. Eventually we plan to sell this home and buy our dream home.Thank you for taking the time out of your day. :)
