Reparations for Lakhdar Boumediene & Mustafa Ait Idir

Lakhdar Boumediene and Mustafa Ait Idir have never received an official apology or compensation for the torture that they and their families endured.  I started a GoFundMe fundraiser with the goal of raising $14 million -- $1 million for each year of their lives that was stolen from them.  I am proud to have raised over $24,000 so far, and Lakhdar and Mustafa tell me that these funds have made a meaningful difference in their lives.  Unfortunately, GoFundMe recently shut down the fundraiser without providing an explanation.  I will therefore continue raising funds for Lakhdar and Mustafa here; all funds will be split between Lakhdar and Mustafa to pay for their medical expenses and their recovery as they rebuild their lives with their families.  I believe it is important for Americans to acknowledge the wrongs that were done and to try to set them right, to the limited extent that we can.  Thank you for your help!
