I have a Silver Lab, Kiwi. I would not be here today if it was not for her. Like many veterans I have battled with depression. On many occasions I wanted to give up. Kiwi would stay, look me in the eyes. It was if she was saying don’t go, don’t leave me. There are many homeless animals that need a home so they too can help others by being a companion.
