The Children's Scoliosis Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides support to families of children with scoliosis through medical travel grants and sponsorship of Higgy Bear "A Friend Like Me" stuffed animals.

Your donation will be used to provide adorable stuffed animals to children with scoliosis. Each animal is designed by a scoliosis patient for other scoliosis patients and comes with an x-ray, letters of support, and either "surgical rods", a cast, or a small scoliosis brace that is available in many different designs. The Children's Scoliosis Foundation has partnered with the Higgy Bears nonprofit organization to provide free bears to scoliosis clinics, hospitals and patients around the world. Our last shipment went to Scoliosis Foundation Ghana for children having surgery at the FOCOS hospital in Accra.
Donations of $500 or more will be used to provide medical travel grants for families that have to travel long distances to see scoliosis specialists. Bracing and surgical specialists are usually located in larger cities, making medical travel a necessity for many families. The Children's Scoliosis Foundation helps to cover travel costs up to $500 per medical trip for families in financial need.
