I am on a journey right now, a journey that God is directing me and showing me so many things as He is helping me to grow in my faith. The next part of this journey is a global mission trip. I believe God has called me to go with my church to the country of Haiti.
In January of 2010 we all heard about the devastating earthquake and subsequent hurricanes that damaged this beautiful country. So our church has stayed strong to the commitment to not only Vallue but also to an orphanage that we are fully responsible for. This orphanage is located in Port-Au-Prince and is named Centre Chretien de Lenfant Haitien. There are 42 children in this orphanage ranging in age from 13months to 18 years old. Pastor Luc Edma, director, is so passionate about helping children that also runs a school that teaches 100’s of other kids in the neighborhood. The trips that we take to Haiti allow us to visit these different places that we support, bringing medical personal, constructing new buildings for them, and ministering to the children in the orphanage. God has called me to be part of one of these trips.
