We are stranded in Nepal after losing our teaching jobs without pay a month ago. We are planning to move to Shana's family home in Islamabad to await Shana's green card to the states. We need help with airfare. Thanks!

Hello everyone! For those of you that don't already know us... I'm Bryan Wood, an American Expat currently living with my family in Kathmandu, Nepal. Nearly 10 years ago I left America to marry my wife Shana in Islamabad Pakistan. Not wanting to ever be a part from my dear wife I promised on our wedding night that we would always stay together and when we go home to America we will go together. It is a long story, but the short of it is I started my teaching career in China shortly after we married and we lived and worked in China for eight wonderful years. While in China we were blessed with two children. Our son, Marcus, is five and our daughter Vanessa is almost three now. We were ending the first year of a two year contract I had signed for the school I was the Assistant director for in Wuxi, China when our plans for getting Shana's visa and finally moving to America were cut short. Due to changes in the visa laws in China we were unable to get our work Visa renewed. Suddenly we were faced with having to leave the country in three weeks instead of having one year to prepare... We ended up moving to Siem Reap Cambodia where I had a failed attempt at running a small hotel resort. In financial ruin we moved to Kathmandu, Nepal and took jobs teaching at a private school hear. That's when the pandemic hit the world. The school's here closed and most teacher's like us stopped getting paid or laid off. Now we have been stranded here without income for two months. I am doing all I can to build an income teaching online and doing freelance writing and transcription work, but I have not been able to meet our needs financially here, at least not yet. With Visa requirements set to be reinstated when international flights start up again on July 15th we will be facing $400 in tourist visa extensions on top of our living expenses. We know we can't stay here now. We need to get back to Pakistan but with the cheapest one way flight for the four of us nearly $3,000 and without friends and family able to help financially we know we need a miracle.
