lost one of his beautiful eyes
Abdulrahman Jaber is the oldest son of Mona Bast. He was a happy young man growing up looking for a better future. Abdul was attending school this year studying hospitality and working part-time to pay for his school transport and living expenses. He was not able to continue his studies due to financial hardship and began working full time, only to lose his job. Abdul decided to join the protests for a better Lebanon after he had nothing left, hoping for a better future. Soon after arriving to his first ever protest, Abdulrahman was tragically shot in his right eye with a rubber bullet. This attack completely blinded him in one eye. He lost so much in a protest asking for the right to have a dream and the right to live in peace. All he wants is a brighter future for Lebanon. In an interview he was asked what he wants, and all he said was "we want to live (Bana n3eish)." Abdulrahman lost his eye in the pursuit of a better life and a better Lebanon. We want to help him know that we all care about him and we want to contribute to his health, well being, and recovery. He is currently unable to work and needs funds for his recovery, living expenses, and education. Please, if you have anything to give in support of Abdulrahman any contribution is greatly appreciated. Protesters like Abdulrahman are the hope of Lebanon and his eye is a casualty of the greater struggle of the Lebanese people for hope of a better tomorrow. watch an interview with his mom: https://twitter.com/AlJadeed_TV/status/1219368723032760323 وهذا ما روته والدته للـLBCI عبد الرحمن جابر تروي ماذا حدث لإبنها
