Teaching Youth Life-Saving Emergency Preparedness Skills

At Radiant Concepts, we are dedicated to proactively equipping our youth with essential readiness skills to confidently navigate emergency situations.

According to FEMA, the State of Florida has experienced 12 emergency declarations from 2020 to 2023. Locally, we have experienced two tragic man-made disasters: the Jacksonville Landing mass shooting in 2018 and the recent Dollar General mass shooting. These events underscore the critical importance of having a well-thought-out emergency plan.

Radiant Concepts is committed to empowering our youth by imparting vital readiness skills, enabling them to effectively respond to both natural and man-made disasters. Here's why you should choose Radiant Concepts:

  • We increase awareness and understanding of natural hazards while teaching safety measures and emotional coping skills.

  • Children learn about the causes of natural disasters and are equipped with emergency supply kits, evacuation knowledge, and stress-reduction techniques.

  • Well-prepared and informed youth are better equipped to cope with and recover from traumatic emergencies.

Radiant Concepts offers age-appropriate Training and Facilitation Awareness in various areas, including:

  • Targeted Violence

  • Active Shooter

  • Situational Awareness Training

  • Emergency Kit

  • Psycho-social coping skills
