The Delco Scorpions was started by Raymond Phillips Jr in October of 2015. This team was started to give athletes a second chance at their football dreams. The Delco Scorpions is an Amateur Football Team with players ranging from ages 18-35 years old. We played our first season in the IFL of Philadelphia on the road as we did not have a field of our own. We played our home games at Sharon Hill football field our 2nd year as a team. Year 3 we played outside of Delco due to not being able to obtain a field in Delco. We are seeking a field that will require $3,000 dollars to rent for the season.During our 3 seasons we have been to the playoffs once losing the 1st round. We need the funds by March 15th to lock our field location down for the season. We plan to use the reminder of the $5,000 to help offset referee cost for the season. The group of young men that I represent comes from many of our Delco high schools were they played football. Delco is a place most of us still call home. Help us obtain a Delco Football Field so that you may come out and enjoy a quality football game.
