WHAT PROMPTED THE STATE OF MONTANA PODCAST?

Do you ever wish you knew more about the candidates that are running for office? Not just what their ads say, but why they became involved in politics, and what issues are important to them?

After hosting a show, Fifty-Six Counties , on our public radio station for the past six years, I decided to create a format where I could actually ask people questions about their views and political ambitions, so I started producing The State of Montana about four months ago.

In this podcast, I not only interview candidates for all the major offices in Montana, but I have also been fortunate enough to sit down for discussions with people who are movers and shakers behind the scenes.

WHY SHOULD YOU SUPPORT THIS PODCAST?

I do all the writing and producing myself, and have been able to provide this podcast for free, but the only reason I'm able to do that is because of the support of people who believe in what I'm doing, and are willing to donate. So that's the purpose of this fundraiser, but I'm also hoping to spread the word. As most people agree, this upcoming election is crucial, and I hope you'll help get the word out that this resource is available.
