"When I was just 10 years old, my parents' argument led to a devastating chain of events. The police took my brothers and me to a children's shelter in Santa Clara, California. We were later picked up by a foster parent, a man who seemed kind but had sinister intentions. He molested me repeatedly, bribing me with money to stay silent.

I finally found the courage to confide in his granddaughter, who exposed the truth to her family. We were returned to the shelter, and eventually, I was placed in another foster home. There, I shared my story with a fellow foster child, and together, we reported the abuse to our foster parents. They called the police, and we brought the perpetrator to justice.

However, the trauma lingered, and I suffered in silence for years. When the statute of limitations was temporarily lifted, I attempted to seek justice again, but the Director of Child Protective Services in Santa Clara County refused to disclose the perpetrator's identity, citing legal restrictions.

This experience has left an indelible mark on my life, and I'm still grappling with the aftermath. Your support and donation will help me find closure. Thank you for listening, and please consider contributing to this fundraiser."
