Tucker found his way to a NC Shelter starving with a number on his side and a shot gun blast to his leg! But he was still full of love and trust. We took one look at those eyes and knew he was meant to be with us. After we pulled him we found out he was Heart Worm positive. His foster mom has been treating him with the slow kill method for HW. Tucker recently ran after a squirrel (against doctors advice) and wound up injuring his shoulder costing over $300 dollars with 4 staples and a drain. Which shows he still has some life in them bones! But the slow kill method is not working as well as we hoped and is no longer an option. If he has any chance to live the life he deserves, he will need the fast kill method which will be almost $500. We are asking for your help. Alot of rescues would think we were crazy helping Tucker this far, but our only regret is not being able to help all the Tuckers out there! Please please help. Any donation would be a great!
