So Bean has had some ups and downs in past two weeks....He had to go back to emergency vet on August 28th due to urinating outside the litter box and straining to urinate. The vet at Marqueen suspected that he has been have urethral spasms and prescribed a spasm relaxer and a pain med. Bean was doing fantastic. Besides mom getting up at 3:30am every morning, he was doing super amazing! Until this past Thursday. Bean started to urinate outside the litter box again, in small amounts, and it was consistently happening. It has been so discouraging thus far. Today I took him to his vet, PetTime in Upland, and they did some X-Rays to notice that Bean's bladder was enlarged, and he was unable to urinate. I then was contacted and rushed right over the emergency vet where it was decided for Bean's best care to admit him into the hospital and start the process of getting his urethra unblocked so he can urinate. he will be in the hospital for 2-3 days.

My heart hurts, and I am not okay.

Please consider donating to Bean's care. If there are leftover proceeds, all will be given to Priceless Pets where Bean was rescued and came into my life.
