Hello, I am David and I am raising money for my friend Tony's cancer surgery. Tony is an Olympic level athlete who left his home in Russia due to the present conflict. He was able to get to Germany where he had housing arranged by another friend. He was leaving a job interview when he was struck by a hit and run driver, causing severe damage to both legs. After several surgeries to repair his legs, he suffered a heart attack, most likely from a genetic defect and years of intense physical training, according to the physicians. He underwent one vessel heart bypass and repair of the damaged portion of his heart. During the surgery, he was discovered to have a malignant tumor in his chest, which he has had surgery on, but needs another operation to remove the remainder of the tumor. Until now, I have managed to pay his expenses, but have used all of the resources available to me. Please help Tony receive the surgery he needs to live and recover a functional life.
