True Rescue was started to help ease the burden of overcrowded shelters and rescues, as well as to assist in disaster relief and spay/neuter programs. The idea of calling it "True" Rescue was based on the fact that the people involved in this rescue were following their true calling and true heart, and performing animal rescue in the true, right way. Our plans are huge, with trying to build a new shelter to help other shelters bursting at the seam. We will be constructing a 15-20,000 sq. foot shelter, set to break ground late summer/early fall. While this monumental task is happening, we have been hitting the ground running, taking as many animals as we can into foster care, assisting with transports, and helping Nashville and the surrounding area with donations for families with pets under financial duress. We will need lots of help, and we hope you can feel our passion when visiting our website, FB page, or working alongside of us. Thank you so much for your support on this essential mission!

We can't believe it, but we are already 1/10 of the way to our goal in just a few short hours! These funds will allow us to immediately implement our first project, and that is to serve the incapacitated people quarantined with pets that need our help. in Nashville and the surrounding areas. We will assist with food purchases, vet transports and vet bills for serious cases. Thank you so much for the support, please keep sharing and getting our message out!,
