Solaris Performing Arts is looking to raise money for their competitive winds ensemble, Nemesis Winds. Nemesis Winds is comprised of music performers ranging in age from 15 to 21. As they embark on their 2019 competitive season with FFCC (Florida Federation Colorguard Circuit) and WGI (Winter Guard International), the ensemble is in dire need of new uniforms, and music instruments as their size has doubled in the last few months. Each member of the ensemble is required to pay membership fees to help offset the cost of travel arrangements to competitions, repairs and/or maintenance for musical instruments, competition and licensing fees, insurance premiums, and rehearsal facility fees. Operating costs for the competitive season range between $18,000 - $25,000. The entire instructional staff is 100% volunteer based so that the members experiences are more enhanced.
