I can't even begin to say how amazed I am by our class. We rallied together and showed how amazing we really are. This year we raised $1,610 not including what some people gave to the annual fund.
Honestly, I wanted to donate a theater seat but as life goes, Andrew and I didn't have $500 or more to give to VES this year. I had the feeling that our class could come together to donate a seat in the name of '09. You've made this happen! Plus are likely in second place for total class participation. That is just awesome!
Now I promise to leave you alone for awhile. Thinking ahead... I will lay low next year but come back strong the following year. I don't know about you but I think we should go all out for 2019, our 10 year reunion. Of course, I hope you'll plan to attend that in June of 2019.
Again, thank you so very much for donating to this fund. I can't wait to see our chair(s) soon.

Fletcher and I came up with the idea for our class to sponsor a chair in the new theater. The chair sponsorships range from $500 to $5000. At minimum we would like to sponsor a chair ($500) but hopefully we can sponsor a balcony chair or even a row of chairs! Consider giving something... even if it is just $2. This is our chance to put our name on a great facility renovation at VES. Opportunities like this aren't going to come again anytime soon. The chair will be engraved with an honor to the class of 2009.
