Please help me raise 25,000 dollars to fund healthy food initiatives and the fight against hunger.
Walk for Humanity will be working with Humanity First, Why Hunger and the Lake County,IL Boys and Girls club to provide meals and healthy food alternatives for families throughout the country.
This walk is one of four taking place in different regions of the country all with the same goal. Each walk will try and raise 25,000 dollars during their local campaign. That money will be collected and distributed among all charities involved. Our Walk will take place in Zion, IL, a suburb to the north of Chicago. This will be the 2nd walkathon held in Zion.Last years event raised 7,000.00 dollars locally and attracted over about 200 walkers from Ohio to Iowa.
The combined total collection for all walks around the nation was over 90,000. 10,000 of which went to the local Boys and Girls Club.
With your help this year we can raise even more.
Please consider making a donation to fund this worthy cause.
Thank you!
With Peace,
Chicago Area Walk for Humanity
