Taisha was diagnosed with stage IV colorectal cancer in May 2018. Chemotherapy was started immediately. Unfortunately, chemotherapy was not successful. Taisha’s army of family, friends, and love ones began diligently searching for alternative forms of treatment. In February 2019, Taisha was transported to Phoenix, Arizona to begin treatment at Nature Works Best Cancer Clinic. The doctors at the Nature Works Best Cancer Clinic were hopeful that the treatment they could provide would slow the cancer down and even put it into remission. Once she arrived in Arizona, she began experiencing additional health communications. After multiple exams, it was discovered that the cancer has spread to her kidneys, liver, and lungs, and she has been diagnosed with Peritoneal Disease.
At this time Taisha’s wish is to return home to Houston, TX. Due to her current medical state she is unable to withstand the 18-hour drive back to Texas. We are asking you to join us in helping Taisha’s wish come true by donating. Please give whatever you can. No donation is too small.

Taisha had an emergency surgery Tuesday evening, August 14, 2018. There was an obstruction in her colon causing blockage. The tumor on her colon was removed. Taisha is now recovering from surgery at home.

Here's a brief update on Taisha's therapy. Unfortunately chemo hasn't started due to the final approval of chemo from insurance. Genetic testing will be done to determine the gene Taisha carries to determine the specific chemo she will need.
All in all Taisha is doing and feeling great. She's been working with a holistic practitioner and building up her strength and immune system.
