Update #16

Thank you, everyone, again for your tremendous support for Lunis Kinderworld in Nepal. I just wanted to share a recent, exciting update. A few weeks ago they had a groundbreaking ceremony for the new school building. And they are really looking forward to starting the construction to have the school ready in time for next school year. Thank you and God Bless!

Update #15

We've now come to the end of our campaign reaching close to 18K, still awaiting our final donations to come in. We truly cannot thank all of you enough for your support throughout this experience. We are so proud of what we've been able to achieve with all of you.
If you didn't have the chance to donate during the duration of the online campaign, not to worry! You are still able to donate directly to the Women's Federation website here: https://wfwp.us/. Just be sure to let us know that the donation is going towards Lunis Kinderworld.
So what's the next step? Lunis Kinderworld will begin the construction of their brand new school with the funds we were able to raise. We will continue to post updates for the duration of the project so that you can see the immense impact you've all made on these kids lives and their education.
Again, we are all forever grateful here at Women's Fed and Lunis Kinderworld. Your investment will not be wasted. Thank you for believing in this project. Thank you for believing in the future generation. Thank you for believing in yourselves and the difference you can make.
Thank you truly.
Look forward to updates along the way. This journey isn't over yet until that school is up and running. Also remember, it's never too late to help in the upcoming months.
Thank you all!

Update #9

Greetings Everyone!

Please enjoy the testimony below from one of the parents of Lunis Kinderworld in Sarlahi district, Nepal. WFWP USA is currently supporting Lunis Kinderworld in their mission to educate children with love and the heart of a parent.

My name is Laxmi. I'm Hardik's mom. My son is 5 years old and last year he started class at one of the private schools in the area. I ended up sending him for just 2 weeks. He was crying a lot because of school. He was really scared; even at night before going to bed he would start to cry and didn't want to sleep thinking about going to school the next day. I was really worried.

In our village, schools usually just write on the board and kids copy in their notebooks and memorize the information. Many of them can get punished—such as being hit on their hands or legs—for not doing well. Every class has a large number of students so in summer it is very difficult for kids.

The first time I heard that Lunis Kinderworld would open, I didn't understand what the difference is with our local schools. But once I started to bring my son to Lunis, I felt really good to see my son happy and excited about coming to study; everyday he is hurrying to come to school. Even on holidays or if he is sick he wants to come. At Lunis, kids learn with games, experiences, and love and the classes learn in small groups. All these are a big difference here.

We are halfway there with only 15 days left to raise the funds they need to build a proper school building at Lunis Kinderworld. Click below to read more about the journey, the school, and how donations can make a difference in the lives of many more children like Hardik.

Thank you for all of your support! We could not do this without you.

Here's a little story..
Lunis Kinderworld was named after the Principal's daughter "Luna". Luna is a Spanish name which means the moon.

Update #6

Good Evening!

I know I posted an update just yesterday, but I am so excited I couldn't wait to share. Thanks to a very generous donor, we are now at over 50% of our goal for Lunis Kinderworld!! I am so blown away, and I'm full of gratitude! It's less than a month away until they will begin construction (at the end of September, to be exact), so I have so much confidence that we will reach our goal before the end.

Also, please check out this testimony video from one of the parents at the school, and see how your support is making an impact. <3 https://vimeo.com/232903782

Much love and God Bless! Let's continue to spread the word.

Update #3

Big news, everyone! We're already coming up to nearly $5,000!
We at Women's Fed and Lunis Kinderworld are absolutely blown away by the support we've received so far for this campaign. Really without your help, this wouldn't have been possible.

Also, thanks to support from WFWP Nepal we can now offer small gratitudes to those giving at several donation levels. Whether you've donated in the past or plan to today, everyone will be receiving these perks! Give $100 total over the life of the campaign and you will receive a lovely, personal thank you letter from the Vice President of WFWP. Give $200 and you will receive a thank you letter from the Vice President, as well as a letter directly from the kids at Lunis! Give a whopping $300 and you will receive the thank you letter from the Vice President and kids as well as your name inscribed on a brick that will be used to make the new school at Lunis!

Be sure to check them out and get inspired! Giving sure feels good especially when you get a little something back as thanks!

Thank you all,
God bless

Hello supporters and thank you so much! As you may have noticed, we've officially passed the $1,000 mark! This is all thanks to you, our wonderful supporters to this project. Lunis Kinderworld is that much closer to its goal of $25,000 but there is still a ways to go.

Please, help us spread the word by sharing this campaign whether it be through social media or an every day conversation. You are the crucial piece to this campaign's success and as you can see, no investment is ever wasted.

Thank you again for your support on this journey. Let us continue to move forward together.
